They support every one of their communities and provide safe, reliable and sustainable electric, gas, and water service, to power the possible. They are also deeply committed to the continued wellness and fulfillment of all their team members. We partnered with Eversource to help tell this story in a short and powerful explainer video.

We partnered with Eversource to refine the script to carefully balance brevity and impact to optimize engagement. We then created a visual storyboard to bring the script to life in still scenes so that we could all align on the look and feel for the video.
In a narrated video, the voice over recording is critical because of how much influence it has in establishing the feel. We identified the right voice artist, provided detail voice direction, selected complimentary background music, and managed the entire recording process from beginning to end.
While honoring the Eversource brand guidelines, we established a nuanced illustration style that felt very connected and also better suited for this video. It combines the precision of technical competence with the warmth of approachability.
Given the nature of this video, it was important to establish a strong sense of humanity. We did this in part, by working closely with Eversource, to select the photographs from their extensive library that most represented the story being told and the vast diversity of their team.
After creating and gathering all of the component parts the highly detailed and precise phase of animation brings everything together. We use movement and flow to amplify the script and increase viewer engagement and retention. Through the process we also pulled out short clips of specific content that can be used in other applications.
